San Jose CA - '97-'09?
A California band that had a fair amount of success, although, in my opinion, were softer and too "rancid" sounding at times. They did have this cool/ugly album cover though:

Knox, Beer & Shouting Oi! - stupid "blog" about (sometimes even more stupid) music: 90's and early '00s, mostly american, "street punk" - a.k.a. drunk punk, chaos punk, pogo punk, spiky punk... punx punk.
